Petoskey in September

I am one of five women who take a weekend trip in the fall. This year we would like to try staying at a cottage or little house on the lake near Petoskey. Normally we do the motel/hotel thing. We would like to be right on the lake, so we can enjoy beach walking, the views etc. Does anyone know where we can find such a weekend rental that doesn%26#39;t cost an arm and a leg? Thanks.

I would suggest contacting local realtors. In Harbor Springs, Graham Real Estate dominates most of the market.

You could look at Bay Harbor as a possibility. Not sure what you would consider an ';arm %26amp; a leg.';

The other possibility is to check the rentals available at Vaction Rentals By Owner. CLick on Michigan then Northwest.
