South Michigan Lake Retreat

Hi.

We%26#39;re looking for a nice resort/cottage/lodge in South Michigan for a family who likes swimming in inland lakes. We have a young toddler who would love swings, a grassy area etc.

Price not a huge issue. Any suggestions?

South Michigan Lake Retreat

There is a nice inland lake park, Silver Lake state park, within 30 min W of Ann Arbor..stay at Webers Inn in AA, drive West through Dexter out to Silver Lake(Pinckney recreation area).

Grassy beach, swings etc., wooded hiking trails, good water quality. Stop at the Dairy Queen in Dexter on the way back, for a walk-up window treat. Best season is mid-July to mid-Aug.

See the Hands-On museum, and Univ of Mich Natural History museum in AA.
