Mother's Day Brunch

Hello -

Does anyone have some great tips for Mother%26#39;s Day Brunch around the Rochester/Rochester HIlls/Auburn HIlls area?

Thanks!

You can check with local fave restaurants in the area.

Another thought and I don%26#39;t know the price point is the new fancy hotel in Rochester - the Royal Park Hotel. It%26#39;s supposed to be lovely.

Unquestionably the best one we have been to is at Cherry Creek Golf club at 24 Mile Road and Van Dyke in Shelby Township. Outstanding!

I just had my wedding shower at Cherry Creek, mentioned above and the brunch is awesome. Chocolate fountain, beef, Lox, ect ect. But for mothers day they are charging a premium, $28.95. I made reservations but we are looking for something a little less pricy. Today we are going to the Royal Park Hotel, I have only seen their brunch, it looked good. Gus O Conners on main street has brunch and I bet Cruise %26amp; Muer has brunch too.

Also be sure to check out the gorgeous Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester(http://www.royalparkhotel.net/rphevents.html).

Meadowbrook Hall at Oakland University is having a Mother%26#39;s Day Dinner ( http://www2.oakland.edu/oakland/OUportal/index.asp?site=87#)

Canterbury Castle in Lake Orion has a fabulous brunch, and it%26#39;s pretty affordable. If you%26#39;re looking for something more upscale, then the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham or The Ritz Carlton both have brunch as well. I know the Ritz is giving mother%26#39;s a tea cup and saucer with the mother%26#39;s day brunch. Hope this was helpfull!

Re the Ritz Carleton, please note that it is in Dearborn and that city is about 25-30 miles from the Rochester/Auburn Hills area that you asked about.

The Kings Castle (at Canterbury) does have a Mothers day brunch... just called, seatings at 12:00, 2:30 and 5:00... buffet style... adults $21.95, Seniors $15.95, Kids 4-12 $10.95 and kids under 4 are free

I went to a great brunch on Easter at the Rochester Chop House. I also have been to Gus O%26#39;Conners brunch, it%26#39;s not too bad either.

You can call or check out the websites.

I say save the big bucks on the food take Mom down to the Greektown Casino for the $ 9.99 brunch and throw her a $ 50 dollar bill for the nickle slots.

I%26#39;m curious, how is that buffet at Greektown? The $9.99 price is much lower than the other local casinos. Does it include a carving station (Prime Rib, Ham, etc.)?
