South Haven with Young Kids

We%26#39;ve got a 3 year old and a 5 year old, and we heard that South Haven was a terrific place to visit with kids during the summer. We don%26#39;t know anything about the area - what to do, where to stay. We%26#39;re not campers, nor are we the kind to stay in a Holiday Inn. A quality house, condo or inn in a good location sound like our style. We%26#39;d be open to the Yelton Manor, but wouldn%26#39;t want our kids to interfere with the romantic atmosphere it seems to promote. Any recommendations on where to stay mid-August? Activities? Thanks for your help!

Check out southhaven.org. There are lots of houses and condos, I%26#39;ll be back with a couple of websites. Sleepy Hollow is good too.

South Haven with Young Kids

rono can cook up some ideas for you--yelton manor is not a place for kids--there are lots of great condos walking distance from the lake--kids love the sand and water and it%26#39;s great to just walk home for naps or whatever--packard park on the no side also has restrooms for shaky potty trainers!! I%26#39;ve had my kids there (not quite when they were that young--didn%26#39;t discover so haven till they were older) and we love it!!

When you say ';quality house'; that probably lets out my suggestions cuz i%26#39;m all about the bargain!!
