First time at comerica park. Coming for tiger-tribe game. Where to stay near park. Have a member wheelchair bound. Close walk or cab or whatever. Casinos nearby for after game festivities ?
Thanks

Hilton Garden Inn would be great: close to Comerica Park, restaurants, bars and casinos and gets favorable TA reviews. It is possible to walk to Comerica and nearby eating/drinking places, but with a wheelchair member, the short cab ride to the casinos would be preferable.

Agree with Tyler on the Hilton Garden Inn. If you can%26#39;t get the rate you want then I would suggest the Holiday Inn Express On Washington or The Atheneum in Greektown.

I probably sound like a shill for HGI but I really think it is one of the nicest, most convenient places to stay in the D.
Despite the crowds and craziness of Tiger%26#39;s Opening Day we pulled into the valet parking @ 9:20 am and were in our room by 9:30.
Efficient, friendly staff, nice rooms...
Easy walk to Comerica...
Stop @ the Elwood for a pre-game beer...
Here%26#39;s a link to service for the disabled at Comerica Park. Hope you and your party have a great time while you%26#39;re visiting, Bill.
