We are considering staying at a 1 bedroom apartment located at 717 S. Despelder. We know it%26#39;s about a mile from the beach, but is this a safe/nice part of town? We will have our 3 little boys with us.

There really isn%26#39;t a bad part of town in Grand Haven.
This area is mostly residential with homes very close together.
You are 1.4 miles from the beach as, the crow flies.
