I am planning a trip to Saugatuck at the end of May. Can anyone tell me the average temp. at that time of year? Any tips on what to do or take with us? Am taking a chance on Lake Shore Resort because of the location to Lake Michigan . . .hope it%26#39;s worth the risk.

Lakeshore Resort has a great location. The weather can be hit or miss, keep in mind that the lakeshore which is where the resort is located can be 10 -15 degrees cooler than downtown Saugatuck. Lots to see and do, shopping, tour the wineries and breweries, hiking through the state park...go to saugatuckdouglas.com for lots of ideas.

Thanks for that website, I hadn%26#39;t come across that one yet. I was planning on touring the wineries but I didn%26#39;t know about the breweries.
Saugatuck Brewing is in the immediate area and New Holland Brewery up in Holland offers a nice tour and samples at their facility.
Forgot to mention that Saugatuck Brewing has a fun Brew Your Own which lets you design your own brew, mix it,bottle it and pick it up in 2 weeks. I%26#39;m sure they have more info on their web site.
